Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a contract position based in Fairfield, CA, supporting a school district with a caseload ranging from pre-kindergarten through post-secondary students. This onsite role requires delivering direct speech-language services within the school environment from now until June 11, 2026, with a potential opportunity for a new school year position. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate, assess, and provide intervention for students exhibiting speech, language, and communication challenges Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for a diverse caseload Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and participate in meetings as required Adapt interventions to meet developmental and academic needs across age groups from PK to post-secondary Qualifications and Experience: Masters degree or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology Current CTC credential for school-based SLP services Active state licensure to practice speech-language pathology Experience servicing a school-age population preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration Location and Work Schedule: Position is onsite in Fairfield, CA (no virtual or teletherapy options) 37.5 hours per week Benefits: Contract role with a competitive compensation range Opportunity to work within a dynamic school district environment Professional growth by serving a wide age range of students This role offers the chance to positively impact student lives through speech and language support in an educational setting.
