Material Handler

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Material Handler for a company based in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow your skills while supporting a fast-paced warehouse and production team focused on efficiency, accuracy, and teamwork.

Pay Rate

$18.00 – $20.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 1st shift. Overtime may be required.

Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
• Unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment
• Move materials to designated storage areas
• Pick and stage materials for production and shipments
• Maintain accurate inventory using warehouse or ERP systems
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
• Label, tag, and organize materials according to company standards
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
• Coordinate with production and shipping teams
• Report damaged or incorrect materials to supervisors

Material Handler Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1–3 years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred
• Forklift experience or ability to obtain certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
