Job Description

Diversified Sourcing Solutions is hiring for a production facility in Midlothian, TX for 2nd shift packers.

Hours: 2pm-12:30am Mon- Thurs

Pay: $16.83/hr

JOB SUMMARY

A Packer manually packs, inspects, and seals health/beauty products into boxes, ensuring accurate counts and quality, using glue guns for assembly and preparing them for shipping. This position requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and adherence to safety and production standards

Key Responsibilities

• Manual Packaging: Assembles boxes with glue guns, packs specific product counts (e.g., 10 envelopes into boxes for 10/60 packs).
• Quality Inspection: Inspects products to ensure correct labeling, lot numbers, and seals.
• Line Operations: Places filled boxes onto conveyor systems for further processing.
• Safety & Maintenance: Maintains a clean, safe, and organized workstation, following all safety rules and GMP/GLP procedures.
• Record Keeping: May require checking product codes and performing accurate box counts.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Less than high school education required, with one to two years of related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, basic math skills (including fractions), and the ability to lift materials (up to 35 lbs in some cases).
• Language: Must be proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking) for understanding safety and operational instructions.
