MATERIAL HANDLER – 2 nd SHIFT
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Material Handler – 2 nd Shift for a company based in Buford, Georgia. In this role, you will have the opportunity to enhance your warehouse and inventory management skills while supporting a global provider of customized clinical and diagnostic supply kits.

Pay Rate
$20.00 per hour (includes $2.00 per hour shift differential).

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 11 30 am to 8 00 pm. Daily and weekend overtime may be required.

Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, inspect materials, and verify quantities against manifests.
• Unload trucks, trailers, and containers while checking shipments for damage or discrepancies.
• Enter and track inventory and material movements within warehouse systems such as SAP.
• Pick and transport materials to designated production or shipping areas using forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
• Label, wrap, band, palletize, and prepare products for shipment according to company standards.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely while following OSHA and company safety standards.

Material Handler Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or other powered industrial equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems such as SAP is preferred.
• Comfortable working at heights above 6 feet when required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques, in office lifting assessment required.
• Drug screening and background check required.
