The purpose of this position is to maintain the stability, security, and integrity of the organization's voice, data, video, and wireless network services. The role requires demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN networks. Extensive knowledge of planning, designing, and deploying network hardware and software solutions is essential. A strong technical understanding of current networking hardware, protocols, and Internet standards is required, with experience in Cisco environments highly preferred. Proven expertise in network capacity planning, network security principles, and overall network management best practices is also necessary.
Starting Rate: $85,632/annually - $112,674/annually - $146,476/annually
Retention Bonus: $1500

Responsibilities:
Deploys and supports the organization's LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, including routers, switches, UPS systems, and related hardware. Develops and maintains accurate documentation for network configurations, topology diagrams, processes, and service records. Performs installation, maintenance, and upgrades of new and existing network hardware and software. Monitors network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal system functionality. Manages and resolves assigned tickets to address reported issues in a timely and effective manner. Provides support in identifying, assessing, and remediating security vulnerabilities. Manages network assets, including inventory tracking and lifecycle management. Research emerging network products, services, protocols, and industry standards to stay current with technological advancements. Tests and analyze network performance, generating performance metrics and reports as needed. Demonstrates the ability to manage job-related stress, including meeting deadlines, handling customer and staff interactions, multitasking, and managing high workloads. Responds to emails and phone calls outside of standard business hours when necessary to support operational needs.
Qualifications:
M inimum:
Associate's degree 3-5 years of relevant experience Comprehensive knowledge of networking concepts and computing infrastructures Proven skills in network configurations, operations, and performance analysis Experience with Cisco switches and routers Ability to safely lift and handle items weighing 25 pounds or more Preferred:
Cisco Certified Network Associate Knowledge of network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards About NTTA:
