As a CBRE Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting a diverse portfolio of medical offices and clinics, primarily located in Lufkin, TX, with additional facilities in Saint Augustine, TX, and Livingston, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing maintenance, repairs, and preventative programs across various building systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency, compliance with safety standards, and client satisfaction. This role requires a proactive approach to facility management and strong problem-solving abilities. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. What You’ll Do:
Support a large portfolio of medical offices and clinics in Lufkin and a few facilities in Saint Augustine and Livingston, Tx. Execute assigned work orders efficiently and in a timely manner. Conduct comprehensive general maintenance and repairs across assigned facilities. Perform plumbing maintenance, including faucet replacement, leak detection and repair, and installation of toiletries and fixtures. Address electrical maintenance tasks, such as outlet and ballast replacement, light fixture installation, troubleshooting outages, and changing lightbulbs. Manage HVAC maintenance, including troubleshooting heating and cooling issues, filter replacement, and coil cleaning. Execute general facility repairs, including drywall patching and paint touch-ups. Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of facility-related issues. Implement and conduct routine preventative maintenance programs for building machinery and systems to extend their operational life. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure peak operational efficiency and adherence to prescribed environmental conditions. Inspect life safety systems, including fire extinguishers, fire alarms, emergency exit signs, and eye wash stations. Perform routine preventative maintenance and upkeep on facility generators. Estimate time and materials required for repairs and maintain an adequate inventory of supplies and tools. Order necessary materials for facility repairs. Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and work safety. Serve as a client-facing representative, ensuring effective communication and resolution of facility concerns. Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems to maintain applicable standards. Operate company-issued vehicles for daily work responsibilities. Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement. Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams. Work within broad guidelines and policies. Explain difficult or sensitive information. What You’ll Need:
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver’s license required. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred. Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
