Reporting to the Production Supervisors, the Press Helper’s role is to assist the Press Operator with the running of the press in a way that maximizes productivity. The Helper will learn how to compare samples of printing to a master sample for quality assurance, monitor ink levels used at the press, fill ink buckets with the proper inks, splice plastic from an old roll onto the new roll for continuity of the print job and palletize finished rolls and stage them for shipment while adhering to safety, quality and workplace organization standards policies and procedures.
