THE TEAM
Part of Live Nation Entertainment's Technology organization, the Cyber Security Department protects the organization from cyber threats and technology risks while enabling the business to operate securely and at scale.
The LNE Cyber Security program focuses on detecting, preventing, and mitigating threats to safeguard artists and fans, their data, and ensure access to live entertainment. Guided by standard frameworks, global best practices, and continuous risk management, the team delivers forward-leaning security capabilities that protect critical systems, support compliance, and strengthen the company's overall resilience.
LNE invests in advanced security technologies and maintains expert operational capabilities to stay ahead of evolving threats. The department partners across technology and the broader enterprise to embed security into platforms, products, venues, and operations.
THE ROLE
This internship centers on direct exposure to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). The intern will observe and support the CISO's day-to-day activities, gaining insight into executive decision-making, risk discussions, and cybersecurity leadership in action.
In addition, the intern will support selected projects across the Cyber Security team, based on business priorities and skill level, gaining hands-on experience across multiple areas of cybersecurity. This is an in-person internship based in Beverly Hills, CA, for the Summer 2026 session.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Examples of potential learning opportunities and project support areas include:
Supporting the CISO with research, preparation, and follow-up for executive meetings, presentations, and strategic initiatives Observing how cybersecurity risk, priorities, and tradeoffs are communicated to executive leadership and business partners Learning how executive cybersecurity decisions are made, documented, and operationalized across teams Assisting with security operations and cyber defense, including basic security monitoring and threat analysis Supporting security architecture initiatives, such as documenting system designs, controls, and data flows Helping review, create, and improve security policies, standards, and technical documentation Participating in vulnerability assessments and learning how to identify, assess, and prioritize security risks Supporting incident response preparation, including playbooks, tabletop exercises, and post-incident reviews Contributing to GRC activities, such as control mapping, risk documentation, and compliance support Contributing to automation or scripting projects based on your skill level Researching emerging security threats, tools, and best practices and presenting findings to the team Taking ownership of assigned projects to ensure continuous, hands-on learning and meaningful contribution WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Interest in understanding cybersecurity from both a technical and executive leadership perspective Currently enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year institution, undergraduate or graduate program, pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field 18 years or older Willingness to undergo a background check Basic understanding of information security principles and requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to problem-solve and think critically in dynamic situations Availability to work onsite at least three days per week in Beverly Hills, CA

The expected compensation for this position is: $16.90 USD - $20.00 USD Hourly ** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
