Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of complex subsystems or solution capabilities end to end. Translate high-level goals into coherent technical strategies aligned with solution direction and business objectives. Select, evaluate, and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks, guiding their adoption. Evaluate solution approaches considering effort, risk, quality, operability, and long-term sustainability. Deliver software initiatives of significant scope and complexity independently or with diverse teams. Proactively identify, manage, and resolve cross-system dependencies and architectural risks. Provide technical leadership during planning, execution, and critical problem resolution. Mentor developers across the software delivery lifecycle and guide technical decision-making. Represent technical viewpoints in reviews involving senior internal and external stakeholders. Contribute independently to customer-facing and industry-related activities. Skills and Experience
Expert-level knowledge of relevant technologies, platforms, and architectural patterns. Deep understanding of selected system domains with broad awareness of the wider solution landscape. Proven ability to influence technical direction across teams. Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making capabilities. Recognised expertise beyond immediate team or function. InterSystems is providing a current good faith estimate of the anticipated base salary range for this position depending on a variety of factors including experience, education, skills, and performance.
Other compensation may include a discretionary annual variable target incentive.
