Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Data Engineer
with strong expertise in
AWS-based ETL solutions, advanced SQL, and data visualization tools (Tableau and/or Amazon QuickSight) . The ideal candidate will be a self-driven professional capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment while supporting large-scale data engineering and analytics initiatives.
Must-Have Skills Strong experience in
Data Engineering using AWS services
(AWS ETL stack) Advanced SQL
skills, including:
Complex joins across multiple tables Subqueries and nested queries Date/time transformations and formatting Working with large data volumes
Hands-on experience with
Tableau and/or Amazon QuickSight
for data visualization and reporting Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience migrating dashboards and reports from
Tableau to Amazon QuickSight Strong communication skills Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain
ETL pipelines
using AWS-supported tools and services Build and manage a
scalable, secure data lake architecture
on AWS Perform complex data analysis using
advanced SQL
on large datasets Develop insightful dashboards and reports using
Tableau and Amazon QuickSight Support and execute
BI migration initiatives , particularly from Tableau to QuickSight Collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining a high level of autonomy Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and best engineering practices Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 7 years
of professional experience in data engineering or related roles Strong background in cloud-based data platforms (AWS preferred) No certifications required
