The role of Project Manager will be based at our Aurrigo Head Office in Coventry, UK within the manufacturing facility where you will be the Automotive Programme/Projects Manager responsible for all elements of vehicle Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM)What you will do
As the Automotive Projects Manager, you will be
* Responsible for handling all the project delivery and implementation phases.
* Ensuring efficient and professional relationships and services.
* Responsible for delivery and co-ordination of all project activity.
* Co-ordinating an OEM programme including complex areas of testing, delivery, engineering, construction, and design.
* Responsible for managing all direct Customer interface providing detailed updates and feedback on project activity including regular site Customer visits.
* Planning and co-ordinating work schedules including all functional inputs ensuring project delivery targets are met.
* Manage multi-disciplined teams across multiple areas such as Engineering, Software Development and Mechanical Design.
* Advising, educating, and instructing on OEM activities leading to informed decision making.
* Coordinating design and engineering teams through matrix management.
* Working with quality representatives to ensure process and product quality standards are maintained throughout the project.
* Liaising with Purchasing teams on suppliers and supplier activities.
* Assisting in the establishment of a first-class product testing facility.
* Researching, evaluating and developing new strategies and processes involved in this and any subsequent projects.
* Executing project planning, budgets, scheduling of tasks and documenting of works done.
* Facilitating Customer on-site visits including preparation of reporting statistics.
* Collaborating on roadmaps for the development of new functionality which can be presented to the wider team.
*What we require from you *
* A demonstrable commercial background in the Automotive sector, preferably focussed on low volume, niche transportation products.
* A strong automotive background in OEM programme/project management.
* A relevant degree in Engineering with qualifications in Project Management.
* Strong industry experience managing technically complex products and diverse teams.
* A first-class understanding of Automotive design and specific elements of engineering activity.
* Strong Communication and Project Management skills.
* ITIL/Lean/Sprint understanding and use.
* Excellent IT and presentation skills.

Pay: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
