Operations Manager (Engineering) - Ballymoney Area - Permanent 

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to join a well-established engineering company specialising in metal fabrication, CNC machining, and bespoke product design. This pivotal role offers the chance to lead operational activities, ensure efficient production, and deliver high-quality projects across a diverse client base.

About the role:

• £55,000 - £60,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday
• Permanent role

What you'll be doing in this role:

• Oversee daily manufacturing and production activities
• Manage stock control, procurement, and supply chain operations
• Ensure workflow runs efficiently to meet output and quality targets 
• Review and refine operational processes to increase productivity
• Implement improvements to reduce waste, shorten lead times, and control costs
• Monitor performance metrics and drive operational excellence 
• Plan and allocate resources effectively across projects
• Ensure bespoke engineering projects are delivered within budget and on schedule

What you'll need for this role:

• Proven experience in an operations or production management role within engineering or manufacturing
• Strong understanding of fabrication and CNC machining environments
• Effective leadership and team management capabilities
• Experience driving operational improvements and efficiencies
• Commercially aware with strong organisational and planning skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
