We are seeking an efficient and accurate Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team in Salt Lake City, Utah. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and gathering items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your role is essential in ensuring that our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. You will utilize pick lists or scanners to locate items, ensuring product quality and proper handling. Maintaining a clean and organized work area, as well as adhering to all Safety protocols, is critical. The correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This position requires stamina, the ability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting, and a keen eye for detail. You will contribute directly to the success of our logistics operations by ensuring order accuracy and efficiency. Join us and be a vital part of our fulfillment process.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders.
- Use scanning devices or pick lists to locate and select products.
- Ensure the correct quantity and type of items are picked.
- Place picked items in appropriate containers for shipping.
- Maintain organized and clean work areas.
- Adhere to all Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Properly use all required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, including Loading and occasional Lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse roles is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet performance targets.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
