Our Business Development team grows the company by building referral partnerships with plumbers, property managers, insurance agents, and other local businesses across Central Ohio.

Thompson Building Associates is a locally owned restoration company serving Central Ohio. We compete with large national franchises and win because of speed, professionalism, and the relationships we have built in the community.

This role focuses on building relationships with businesses in our market and generating new opportunities for the company.

What You Will Do

  • Build relationships with referral partners such as plumbers, property managers, insurance agents, and commercial contacts
  • Generate new business through outreach, meetings, and consistent follow up
  • Represent the company professionally during emergency response opportunities
  • Grow and maintain a strong pipeline of referral relationships
  • Track activity and manage your territory to drive revenue growth
  • Work closely with operations and leadership to ensure customers receive great service

This is not a passive role where leads are handed to you. The goal is to build relationships, create opportunity, and grow a territory.

Requirements

  • Experience in B2B sales or business development
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours when emergency opportunities arise
  • Ability to work independently while staying aligned with the team
  • Clean driving record

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary plus uncapped commission
  • Typical earnings range $50,000 to $100,000 depending on performance
