Branch Manager (Electronic Components)

Job Description

Position Summary:

The manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the operations and the fiscal health of the branch within the company. Develop and maintain customer sales revenues and supplier relationships within an assigned geographical area. Flexibility to travel.

Education Required:

Must have a minimum of High School education, college degree is preferred. 

Experience Required:

At least five years of experience in the electronics industry, sales, sales management, or a relevant business role.

Qualifications and Skills:

Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to set goals and sales targets to increase revenue. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once. Finding ways to ensure efficiency of sales operations. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite programs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Duties include hiring staff, managing staff, onboarding, staff training process, building rapport with customers, suppliers, and the manufacturer’s representatives.  Creating and implementing strategies to improve productivity and sales performance in efforts to achieve the financial targets of the branch. This position is responsible for assisting with setting and implementing corporate goals and initiatives. Additional duties as assigned.

Physical Demands :

This position is mostly sedentary 6+ hours a day.  Work is done in an office environment and requires ability to type for periods of time.  There is occasional lifting of boxes up to 20 pounds. Most work is done using a computer and screen time will be heavy.
