Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled Physical Therapist to deliver in-person services within multiple school locations in Irvine, CA. This full-time, itinerant role is scheduled from August 13, 2026, through November 15, 2026, providing therapy support across a cluster of campuses. The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during school hours, serving school-aged children. Responsibilities include administering assessments, delivering hands-on physical therapy interventions, and participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to tailored student support plans. The role requires travel between several educational facilities throughout the day, ensuring comprehensive coverage and therapy services across assigned campuses. Qualifications and experience desired: Active Physical Therapist license for the state of California Previous school-based physical therapy experience preferred Ability to manage a diverse caseload of school-aged children Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to provide thorough assessments and document therapy plans Willingness and reliability to travel between multiple locations during the school day Current fingerprint clearance for educational and agency requirements Teaching credential information pending; will be updated accordingly Key location details: Position based in Irvine, California Itinerant travel within multiple district campuses Benefits of this contract position include delivering impactful therapy services directly in educational settings, fostering student development, and collaborating closely with school teams.
