In this role, you will be responsible for selecting items from our warehouse inventory and preparing them for shipment. Your precision and speed are key to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the flow of our logistics operations. You will use hand-held scanners to track inventory and verify order details. Maintaining a safe and orderly workspace, adhering to all Safety regulations, and utilizing the appropriate PPE are paramount. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities.
- Package products carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring Safety standards are met.
- Perform quality checks on picked and packed items.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to logistics and Safety.
- Wear required PPE at all times while performing duties.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in picking/packing or warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and move about the warehouse.
- Must be capable of frequent Lifting up to 45 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Familiarity with scanning technology is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to following Safety procedures and guidelines.
