Are you an efficient and detail-oriented individual looking for an Order Picker position in Salt Lake City, Utah? We are seeking motivated candidates to join our logistics team and contribute to our streamlined order fulfillment process. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role requires attention to detail, speed, and accuracy to ensure our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. You will operate equipment like pallet jacks and scanning devices, and work closely with other warehouse associates to maintain efficient operations. Strict adherence to safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe Lifting practices, is essential for this role. Success in this position means contributing to customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our logistics network. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Use scanning devices to track inventory movement.
- Package items securely for shipment.
- Transport picked items to the packing and shipping areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Follow all safety regulations, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with orders to supervisors.
- Perform duties that may involve manual Lifting.
- Contribute to the smooth functioning of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to read and interpret picking lists accurately.
- Experience operating pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Capable of performing physical tasks, including frequent Lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
