Shelby Baker, DVM is looking for new additions to the team at Damonte Ranch Animal Hospital in South Reno!
We are currently seeking Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVT) and Veterinary Technicians in Training (VTIT) who are passionate about animal care and committed to providing exceptional service to both patients and their families.
*About Our Practice*
Damonte Ranch Animal Hospital is a privately owned, 4,000-square-foot veterinary facility that opened in South Reno in June 2011. Our team is dedicated to delivering the highest quality medical, surgical, and dental care while building strong relationships with our clients and their pets.
Our philosophy is simple: we don’t just meet client expectations—we strive to exceed them.
Our hospital is equipped with modern technology including:
* Digital radiography (including dental radiographs)
* Ultrasound
* IDEXX in-house laboratory
We are a fast-paced hospital open 5 days a week, supported by a collaborative and dedicated veterinary team.

We are searching for someone who is:

* Passionate about excellent patient care and client service
* Eager to continue learning and developing their technical skills
Previous veterinary experience is required.
*Technician Responsibilities*
Responsibilities may include:
* Assisting veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, and treatments
* Endotracheal intubation and intravenous catheter placement
* Surgical preparation and anesthesia monitoring
* Venipuncture and laboratory sample collection
* Assisting with diagnostic imaging, including digital radiography and ultrasound
* Patient care, monitoring, and nursing support during hospitalization
* Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records
* Client communication and education regarding treatments and preventative care
* Supporting a clean, organized, and efficient treatment environment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
