UPMC Community Care Behavioral Health is hiring a full-time Business Analyst to join the Value Based Program team. The team is based out of downtown Pittsburgh's US Steel Tower, and this role will work in a hybrid structure with three days in the office - Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This Business Analyst will work as part of a small, collaborative team responsible for implementing, evaluating, and reporting on all value-based purchasing initiatives at CCBH. The role centers on partnering closely with the Decision Support and Finance teams to assess provider and organizational performance, ensure accuracy of performance measures, and support authorization and processing of payments. This position performs extensive data validation, auditing, and reconciliation-bridging clinical outcome reporting with contractual payment requirements-to ensure providers are paid accurately and on time. The analyst will also support the preparation of both internal and external reports related to value-based contracting. Responsibilities: Collaborate with Decision Support and Finance teams to ensure timely and accurate value-based contracting (VBC) payments to providers Prepare and support internal and external reporting related to value-based performance and payments Assist with project management tasks, partnering with the project manager as needed Effectively prioritize and complete all assigned tasks. Work with stakeholders to identify problems and propose solutions. Identify areas of concern that may compromise client satisfaction. Maintain employee/insured confidentiality. Maintain performance, and financial records Participate in training programs as available/requested. Openly participate in team meetings, provide ideas and suggestions to ensure client satisfaction, and promote teamwork. Assist team members during periods of backlogs. Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience required. Preference will be given to those with a Bachelor's degree. Minimum of two years of general business experience required. Minimum of two years of experience in business/industry specialty required. Healthcare or health insurance experience strongly preferred. Data review and financial reporting experience strongly preferred. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills, is preferred. Knowledge of commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare products preferred. Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills required.
