To strengthen our team at our headquarters in Hamburg's HafenCity, we are looking for a full-time or part-time (20–30 hours/week)

Underwriting Operations Specialist | Insurance Analyst (m/f/d)

to join us as soon as possible.


  • Prepare regular reports and analyses (weekly / monthly reports, cost centre reporting, loss statistics, underwriting KPIs, profit-share calculations, and budget support)
  • Maintain insurer and partner data in the business system, manage Lloyd's registrations, support ratings and renewals, and oversee participation codes and country-of-binding topics
  • Manage product and document administration in the business system, including product tables, text modules, layouts, document numbers, and publication on the intranet / internet
  • Update underwriting guidelines and manuals, maintain navigation area tables, and coordinate tariff, rule, and underwriting changes across offices
  • Maintain insurance tax structures in the business system / intranet, implement new taxes or clarifications, and ensure regulatory accuracy
  • Act as a key contact for multiple international offices and actively contribute to the Admin Circle
  • Support cross-functional projects, including product updates, guideline revisions, regulatory changes, Coverholder applications, and market-specific developments

  • Commercial training, preferably with a focus on insurance, but also a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field relevant to the position
  • Passion for sales, business development, and strategic thinking
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills, as the role involves close collaboration and travel across international markets
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proactive, structured, and results-oriented working style with a strong team-player mindset
  • Prior knowledge of the insurance industry is an advantage
  • Interest or enthusiasm for boating (motor or sailing) is a plus
