Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same? Do you love helping people just as much as their pets? At Community Pet Hospital, our reception team is the heartbeat of the hospital — and we’re looking for a compassionate, organized, and confident Veterinary Receptionist to join us.
At CPH, we’re open 7 a.m. – 2 a.m. daily — so from first puppy vaccines to unexpected late-night emergencies, we’re truly here for that.
What You’ll Do:
Be the warm, welcoming first impression for every client and patient
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage a multi-line system with efficiency and kindness
Triage client concerns and relay accurate information to our medical team
Check patients in and out while reviewing invoices and processing payments accurately
Communicate clearly about services, estimates, and hospital policies
Support clients through emotional moments with empathy and professionalism
Keep the front desk organized, calm, and running smoothly (even when it’s busy!)
What We’re Looking For:
A true people-person who stays calm under pressure
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Excellent communication — both written and verbal
Attention to detail (accuracy matters!)
Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion
Veterinary or medical front desk experience is strongly preferred
Flexible availability — because in a hospital open 7 a.m. – 2 a.m., teamwork matters
