PURPOSE
The Product Content Manager is responsible for managing product master data in SAP and within a Product Information Management (PIM) database throughout the entire product lifecycle. This includes creating new product data, increasing the data quality of existing products, publishing the data across all marketing channels, and improving the systems and processes to manage product content. The right candidate will be a problem solver, analytical thinker, results oriented, have a strong attention to detail, and excel at managing product content data. This individual, as a member of the PIM team, will work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Content Manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining Master Data in the SAP and other product information management systems.
Operate as SAP Master Data content expert and work with business users to analyze data integrity, completeness, consistency, accuracy, timeliness, conformity, and validity.
Drive comprehensive master data creation and maintenance processes in SAP
Ensure the total population of required SAP master data across the business enterprise
Validate the integrity of material data provided by other functions
Highlight and rectify minor issues with the processes or tools in a timely and collaborative manner
Execute master data creation and maintenance by establishing or enhancing standard operating procedures, templates/mapping documents, service level objectives, and project plan
Assist with SAP data loads utilizing data workflow tools, load templates and corresponding programs, mass change transactions, and/or direct entry depending on the situation
Establish material center of excellence to define standards and ensure compliance.
Uphold SAP master data standards by validating/normalizing/cleansing data to ensure adherence to technical and business rules, naming conventions, abbreviations, etc.
Run error reports and/or pull data to identify inconsistencies and data load corrections
Function as a master data knowledge resource by helping the business understand master data and the data workflow that will need to be implemented to request adds/changes
Document data issues engaging the Manager to work with the business and technical teams as needed to reach a resolution
Working to help the Data stewards, and individual business data object owners to understand rules and data setup for new requirements due to system enhancements, process improvements, and/or business rule changes
Provide testing support for key system upgrades and implementations
Maintain logs/shared files to document master data activity for projects, status reports, and internal audit and compliance processes
Create/maintain standard operating procedures, user request forms, and other documentation to promote data consistency
Provide cross-training/share knowledge with teammates to build skills across the master data team.
Continuously improve knowledge of master data to gain a better understanding of how data elements are used technically and functionally.
Define and optimize the configuration of the product taxonomy, hierarchy, and schema.
Identify opportunities to increase efficiencies, automate, and improve data quality.
Play a supportive role on larger projects, including website enhancements, digital marketing initiatives and PIM system integrations/improvements.
Other duties may be assigned based on business needs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor's degree in data science or other related field or relevant experience.
Minimum of three years' work experience in content management, data management, or related field
COMPETENCIES
SAP master data governance design (MDG) and implementation experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong computer skills and aptitude to learn software systems and programs
Knowledge of database concepts
Highly organized and possesses great attention to detail
Process-oriented problem solver and analytical thinker
Ability to take initiative, prioritize, and work with tight deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Experience with and the ability to effectively work within cross-functional team, as well work independently
Aptitude to command and lead projects and initiatives
Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities, with deliverables completed on time and with high quality
Content Management System (CMS) and Product Information Management (PIM) systems experience
Understanding of project management concepts, Agile methodologies, and related software (Jira)
Experience with analyzing and updating large datasets

In addition to the base wage listed, this position is also eligible to earn an annual bonus subject to changes in plan design and documents and in accordance with applicable law. Eligibility and the amount of the bonus varies based on overall company success, thresholds met and other terms and conditions of the Company's active bonus policy for the respective year.
