As an Physical Therapy Consultant with Looking Upwards, Early Intervention, you’ll work in a supportive environment with a qualified team of social workers, developmental specialists, speech language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other physical therapists who are always willing to answer specific questions or collaborate for a co-treatment. You will also have the flexibility to schedule your home visits and, as a partof a larger nonprofit, you will benefit from resources and professionaldevelopment to grow your career.
Additional PT consulting opportunities are also available with older children as well (ages 3-20) in our growing HBTS (Home Based Therapeutic Services) Program if you are looking to pick up more hours.
*The following qualifications are necessary:*
* The PhysicalTherapist is required to have a valid RI PT license and be in good standing with the state of RI in order to be considered for this position.
* 2+ years of pediatric experience
* Must be willing to provide home based services in Providence Area, East Bay and Aquidneck Island
* Display strong interpersonal skills
* Able to implement a coaching model when working with families
* Able to work in a trans-disciplinary team
* Demonstrated time management and multi-tasking skills
* General computer proficiency
Applicants must also have a valid driver's license, auto liability insurance, safe driving record and access to a dependable vehicle. Prior to employment, successful candidate must pass BCI background check , National background check and DCYF CANTs Clearance

Job Types: Part-time, Per diem
Pay: $45.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
