The ideal candidate is customer service focused, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is ready to take on the challenge of supporting IT in a growing company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Act as the primary point of contact for IT support requests. Provide exceptional customer service to staff, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems in a timely and effective manner.
  • Hands-On IT Management: Take a proactive approach in maintaining end-user, including workstations and conference room AV. Complete hardware and software installations, updates, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with IT Partner: Serve as a liaison with our external IT partner to maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including our servers, networks, and firewalls.
  • Software Oversight: Manage and oversee all software applications and allocate licenses. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls. Ensure software is up to date.
  • IT Resource Management: Manage the company’s IT resources. This includes maintaining an accurate inventory of IT assets and overseeing the check-in/check-out of shared IT assets (e.g., cameras). Support the implementation and maintenance of associated policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure compliance with IT policies, security protocols, and industry standards to protect company data. Manage data backups and system updates. Educate staff on cyber-security best practices.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and relevant IT certifications, or equivalent work experience. Associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users both written and verbally.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networking, and security.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
  • Experience using Active Directory to manage users and devices.
  • Tenacious problem-solving skills and the ability to execute plans effectively.
