The Credit Manager plays a critical leadership role within Interra's Risk Management function, driving sound financial decision-making while enabling commercial growth across a global portfolio.
This role is responsible for overseeing financial analysis, customer underwriting, collections, and cash portfolio management , ensuring that risk is evaluated strategically while supporting business expansion. The Credit Manager will lead and develop a team, partnering closely with commercial and operational stakeholders to balance risk mitigation with opportunity.
With exposure to multi-national customers and global markets , this role requires both analytical depth and leadership strength to navigate complex financial landscapes and deliver disciplined, scalable solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the credit underwriting process , including in-depth financial analysis and risk assessment of customers across global markets
Oversee collections strategy and execution , ensuring timely resolution and strong cash flow performance
Manage and optimize cash portfolios , balancing liquidity, exposure, and growth objectives
Evaluate and monitor customer creditworthiness, particularly within multi-national accounts
Handle claims and support resolution processes in alignment with company policies
Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit standards, and risk management procedures
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team , fostering accountability and continuous improvement
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Leadership to support strategic decision-making
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in credit underwriting, financial analysis, collections, or risk management within a corporate environment
3+ years of experience managing and developing teams
Experience working with multi-national customers or in a global business environment strongly preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
Proficiency in ERP/CRM systems and financial analysis tools preferred
Ability to respond to time-sensitive matters outside of standard working hours
