Provide crucial care in a specialized progressive care unit focused on cardiovascular and surgical patients. This role requires a skilled acute care RN with experience in cardiac monitoring, medication administration, and advanced patient management in a fast-paced hospital environment. Location Position is based in Dewey, AZ, offering a peaceful yet accessible setting ideal for healthcare professionals seeking a balanced lifestyle. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular and surgical treatments. Utilize advanced equipment including Philips Cardiac Monitors, Medtronic Pacemakers, Cerner EMR, and Sigma Spectrum IV pumps for patient monitoring and medication management. Manage complex interventions such as arterial and venous sheath care, chest tubes, epidural catheters, PCA pumps, and chronic ventilator support. Collaborate with hospitalists and ICU teams, floating as needed to telemetry and ICU units. Adhere to a 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio, ensuring personalized and attentive care. Uphold professional dress code standards with navy scrubs and business-appropriate hair color. Qualifications Current and active Arizona RN license in good standing. Minimum one year of progressive care unit (PCU) experience. Proficiency in EKG interpretation and IV cardiac medication administration. Certification in ACLS and BLS required. Must pass dysrhythmia exam with an 80% score within two attempts prior to contract signing. No employment within 50 miles at facilities associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past year. Schedule 12-hour shifts, either 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM. Three shifts per week required; four shifts per week may be negotiated at regular rates.
