We are seeking a versatile and experienced Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team in San Francisco, California. This dual-focused role is critical to the seamless flow of goods in and out of our facility. You will manage both incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to all safety protocols. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a demanding logistics environment. Responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, from verifying delivery contents and preparing outbound shipments to coordinating with carriers and maintaining inventory records. We emphasize a safe workplace, and all employees are required to use provided PPE and follow strict safety guidelines. This role involves significant lifting, moving, and organizing of materials, demanding physical capability and endurance. Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming goods.
- Picking, packing, and staging outgoing orders.
- Preparing shipping labels, bills of lading, and other necessary documentation.
- Coordinating with freight carriers for pickups and deliveries.
- Conducting inventory counts and maintaining accurate records in the WMS.
- Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
