We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Inventory Control Specialist to join our busy Los Angeles, California distribution center. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. Your duties will include conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, implementing inventory control procedures, and ensuring optimal stock levels to support our Logistics operations. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse inventory management. You will play a key part in improving operational efficiency and reducing losses. We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement procedures to enhance inventory accuracy and control.
- Monitor stock levels and recommend adjustments to replenishment orders.
- Manage and maintain the inventory management system, ensuring data integrity.
- Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Identify and report on slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Train warehouse staff on proper inventory handling and control procedures.
Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related field within Logistics. Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to perform occasional Lifting of up to 30 lbs. Thorough understanding of warehouse Safety procedures. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy and Safety.
