Mobile Application Test Automation Engineer - Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain functional mobile test automation scripts using Appium with Java. Ensure automated test suites run continuously with timely analysis and defect reporting. Research, implement, and train QA teams on test-driven development and advanced mobile automation practices. Work across teams and vendors to define environment requirements and identify automation tools. Support end-to-end mobile testing across diverse applications. Partner with geographically distributed teams to plan future QA tooling and automation roadmaps. Collaborate with product teams, product owners, and scrum masters to align testing schedules and integrate metrics into project planning. Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
Minimum 3 years of experience in mobile application development. Minimum 4 years of experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks. Minimum 5 years of experience developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts. Hands-on coding experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages. Experience using bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, MTM, Zephyr, or HP Quality Center. Proven ability to manage multiple QA automation initiatives with geographically distributed teams. Solid understanding of mobile development for iOS and/or Android. Understanding of CI/CD practices and Lean DevOps methodologies. Experience with XCUI, Espresso, Kotlin, or Swift is preferred. Experience within financial or trading industry environments is a plus.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
