Join our team as an Inventory Control Specialist in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this key role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, processing inventory adjustments, and ensuring that our logistics systems reflect real-time stock levels. This position requires a meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of inventory management principles. You will work closely with warehouse staff to resolve stock issues and implement improvements to inventory control processes. Safety is a critical aspect of our operations, and all team members are expected to adhere to safety guidelines and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. While this role is primarily focused on data and analysis, some physical tasks may be involved, including occasional lifting. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Process inventory adjustments and transfers accurately.
- Maintain and update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and staff to ensure stock accuracy.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve inventory control.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed.
- Monitor stock levels and report on inventory status.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Ability to perform occasional lifting and other physical tasks.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and using PPE.
