Are you a skilled operator with a passion for precision? Our expanding Logistics facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is looking for an experienced Reach Truck Operator to join our dedicated team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Efficiently managing our inventory within the warehouse, ensuring proper placement and accessibility, is key. You will play a vital part in maintaining smooth warehouse operations, contributing directly to our productivity and Safety standards. We expect candidates to be highly motivated, safety-conscious, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role involves significant operational responsibility, and a proven track record of safe and efficient reach truck operation is essential. Adherence to all Safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE, is non-negotiable. This position requires regular physical activity, including Lifting and maneuvering heavy loads. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Safely transport goods throughout the warehouse.
- Perform pre-operation inspections on the reach truck.
- Follow all Safety protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper placement and counts.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Ensure the work area is kept clean and organized.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to Logistics and operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Valid forklift operator certification (or ability to obtain).
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting and bending.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to wear required PPE at all times.
