Backend Developer - SaaS Platform About the Opportunity Join a rapidly growing software company working on an innovative SaaS platform. Due to continued success and expansion, we're seeking a talented Backend Developer to join our development team. The Role You'll be responsible for maintaining and updating our platform's APIs, implementing new features based on customer requirements. This role requires you to perform technical analysis and extract requirements from customer feedback that may arrive in various forms across multiple channels. We prioritize creating software that's easy for end users, even when this increases development complexity. If you share this philosophy and take pride in your craft, we want to hear from you. Essential Requirements You must have 2+ years of backend/Web API development experience including: Developing an API-first software product, preferably SaaS Expert-level proficiency in C# and creating WebAPIs Practical experience using Domain Driven Design Designing and writing code following SOLID principles Demonstrable commitment to Clean Code practices - showing real pride, care and attention in your work Writing testable code and applying Test-Driven Development (TDD) where appropriate Desirable Skills Experience with document-based databases (MongoDB preferred) Experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server preferred) Knowledge of Azure and Terraform Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy preferred) What We're Looking For A developer who takes genuine pride in their code quality, can work with unstructured customer feedback to define technical requirements, and understands that great user experience sometimes means more complex development work.
