Role Overview: Experience Level: 1 2 years We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer / Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between mobile app development and operations, ensuring seamless deployment, scalability, and performance of mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with development teams, QA, and operations to streamline the software delivery pipeline and improve mobile app development workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
DevOps Practices: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines tailored for mobile application development (iOS and Android). Mobile Development Support: Collaborate with mobile developers to optimize builds, automate testing, and ensure smooth releases. Infrastructure Management: Set up and maintain cloud-based or on-premises infrastructure for hosting mobile backend services. Monitoring & Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions to track app performance, crash analytics, and ensure high availability. Version Control: Manage source control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket) and branching strategies to support mobile teams. Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices in app deployment, including code signing, secure storage, and data encryption. Collaboration: Act as a liaison between development, operations, and QA teams to ensure efficient delivery of mobile applications. Tool Integration: Evaluate, integrate, and maintain tools like Jenkins, Fastlane, Firebase, or AppCenter to streamline development processes. Automation: Identify repetitive tasks in the development lifecycle and automate them for increased efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in mobile development frameworks (e.g., Swift, Kotlin, React Native, or Flutter). Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, or Azure DevOps. Familiarity with mobile-specific tools such as Fastlane, Gradle, Xcode, or Android Studio. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong understanding of source control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience:
Proven experience in DevOps practices and mobile app development workflows. Hands-on experience in building and deploying mobile applications in both iOS and Android ecosystems.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with testing frameworks and tools like Appium, XCTest, or Espresso. Familiarity with analytics tools like Firebase, New Relic, or Crashlytics. Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). Knowledge of API and backend integration for mobile apps.
Salary Range-$63,400-$75,000 a year
