Supports the organization by maintaining, updating, and securing the information technology infrastructure of the agency.
Duties/Responsibilities: Performs hardware and software installation and configuration for network devices and servers. Monitors performance and security of servers, VPNs, WAPs, and other network-connected devices. Troubleshoots and repairs any network equipment and/or servers and provides high level technical support to the Help Desk Specialist as required. Supports and configures Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, file, and print services for all locations, systems, and users. Coordinates with third party application vendors to provide technical support Provides direct Help Desk support to end users as needed. Education and Experience:
Minimum of an associate degree in computer science or related field, equivalent experience, or certifications. Experience managing Linux servers (CLI-only). Experience providing direct end user technical support. Two years' experience managing Windows Server 2012 or newer. Two years' experience managing an Office 365 Tenant. Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to troubleshoot network equipment and services such as DHCP, DNS, SMTP, Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services, and Azure Active Directory. Available to address occasional IT needs in the evenings and weekends. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
