Über
Th e Senior Data Scientist solves complex analytical problems using advanced quantitative approaches, combining analytical, mathematical, and technical skills. This role involves researching, designing, implementing, and validating algorithms to analyze diverse data sources, leveraging statistical and predictive modeling concepts to achieve targeted business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
P
articipate in projects to support key objectives and business goals using data science methodologies. Apply statistical programming languages and tools to create multiple algorithms and models. Partner with domain experts to validate model capabilities. Collaborate with Solution Architects to enable appropriate data flow, rapid prototyping, and analytical product design. Mentor junior team members on data science tools and methodologies. Clearly articulate methodologies, results, and insights to stakeholders and peers. Continuously advance team knowledge through collaboration and sharing. Participate in daily project meetings, troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and resolve bugs. Required Qualifications
Bac
helor's degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Science, or related discipline; Master's degree preferred. Intermediate experience in analyzing complex business systems and large datasets. Strong proficiency in Databricks and Python (non-negotiable). Experience with SQL and cloud-based clustered compute environments. Applied knowledge of big data, open-source, and third-party toolsets. Familiarity with Agile software development practices. Experience validating and testing machine learning systems. Knowledge of CI/CD practices. Preferred Qualifications
Ex perience with the Ray framework (highly preferred). Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment experience. Background in building analytical solutions and big data platform implementations. Familiarity with predictive modeling, statistical modeling, and advanced data mining techniques. Strong understanding of industry requirements and data regulations.

No
mandatory certifications; cloud or data science certifications (AWS, Azure, Databricks) are a plus.
