MTrec recruitment are representing our industry leading manufacturing client based in the heart of South Tyneside. The business is a well-established company and are looking to expand their talented quality team by recruiting a full time and permanent QA Technologist.

The Job you will do:
* Drive continuous improvement across quality, cost control, waste reduction, and efficiency
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safe working practices
* Complete customer questionnaires and prepare product specifications
* Support communication with suppliers, customers, and certification bodies on quality matters
* Coordinate audits and maintain accreditation standards
* Perform stock checks on quarantined materials
* Inspect retained samples and approve product release where required
* Conduct in-process quality checks across production
* Prepare compliance and analysis certificates
* Carry out laboratory testing (e.g., yield, seal strength, friction...
