*About Boardwave *
Boardwave brings together Europe's most ambitious technology leaders in a way that actually accelerates growth. With 2,000+ founders and CEOs, members access stage-matched support, real-time benchmarking, and ego-free collaboration with peers who have solved their exact challenges. Whether you're scaling internationally, navigating Series B, or building towards €100m+, membership is free thanks to our partner ecosystem. Together, we're proving Europe's leaders can scale faster and stronger.
At the heart of this is our digital platform, powered by Hivebrite and heavily customised to suit our unique community. As we evolve and expand our digital experience and begin to shape new, AI-powered tools we are looking for a passionate, creative and hands-on Product Manager to help drive the next phase of our product journey.
*The role*
You’ll be the product voice within the team: owning and evolving our ‘Connection Centre’, a Hivebrite-powered platform designed to provide a hub for all Boardwave connections and insights, and which serves as a directory for our 2,000+ members. You will work closely with our members, partners, our fractional CTO, and tech collaborators including Hivebrite and The Tech Dept.
You’ll combine structured product management with curiosity, creativity, and a user-first mindset. You’ll shape our roadmap, capture feedback and ideas, run testing and pilots, and make sure what we build delivers value and is loved by the community.
The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution. They must be highly organised, analytical, and adept at prioritising competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
*Key elements of the role *
* Own the Hivebrite platform experience end-to-end, managing improvements, user journeys and performance
* Lead on roadmap development: gather feedback from members, partners and the team; identify opportunities; shape and prioritise ideas
* Collaborate with Hivebrite (Paris) and The Tech Dept (UK) to deliver updates and feature iterations
* Work with our fractional CTO, on ensuring quality and alignment to our over-arching mission and growth strategy
* Design and run user testing, surveys and pilots to validate assumptions and surface new ideas
* Champion data quality and user engagement by working closely with the marketing team to ensure member profiles are complete, accurate, and up to date - driving better search results, relevance, and overall platform engagement.
* Stay curious: bring insight on emerging tools, best practices and the evolving AI landscape to keep us ahead of the curve
* Contribute to early-stage development of new digital products beyond Hivebrite especially where AI creates new value for the community
*The experience that excites us *
* Have 4-5 years' experience in product management or related digital/UX roles
* Are comfortable working solo and owning a product area end-to-end, but love collaboration too
* Know how to work with community or SaaS platforms, and have a passion for exceptional UX
* Are tech-curious, especially when it comes to AI — excited to learn, apply and experiment
* Understand the startup/scale-up world — ideally with experience in or around the European tech scene
* Are a natural communicator who can translate member feedback into clear product requirements
* Care about building something that matters — and helping other founders succeed
*Why join Boardwave*
* Help shape the digital experience of one of Europe’s most exciting tech communities
* Work closely with some of the most experienced founders, leaders and investors in Europe
* Small, agile and mission-driven team with big ambitions and a collaborative culture
* Space to grow: we want you to own your domain, backed by expert support when you need it
