Job Title: Software Design Engineer
Location: Redmond, WA - Onsite
Pay Range: $58.51 - $64.38 (Benefits/PTO/401k)
Hardskills:
Minimum 3 years' experience with C++ programming.
Minimum 3 years' experience with Windows device driver development.
Minimum 4 years' experience with advanced debugging on Windows
What's the Job?
Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain software applications and utilities related to Windows audio system certification.
Contribute to the release of Windows 11 by supporting audio hardware and device driver certification efforts.
Diagnose and troubleshoot audio certification test failures reported by industry partners and escalation engineers.
Create and improve test content, fixing issues to ensure successful certification passes.
Enhance internal debugging tools and processes to support high-quality software delivery.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 3 years' experience with C++ programming.
At least 3 years' experience with Windows device driver development.
Strong background in advanced debugging on Windows systems.
Experience working with audio/media technologies and troubleshooting system-level issues.
