We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our nurturing team, working together to achieve the best outcomes for our pupils and making a real difference in their lives.
The RoleAs an SEN Class Teacher, you will teach a small bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a Teaching Assistant. Your responsibilities will include planning, preparing, and presenting lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of your students.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Motivating pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative presentations.
- Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure high educational standards.
- Monitoring and assessing pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Utilizing a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance pupil engagement and learning.
- Creating and maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment for all pupils.
- Adhering to all school policies and procedures in line with our values.
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
- Successful experience in SEN teaching.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to the success of every pupil.
The successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by Polaris Community.
