Salary: £47,500 - £55,000, depending on skills and experience

Location: Flexible across the Anglian Water Region, must have ability to travel to Peterborough and Huntingdon

Hybrid Working, 2-3 days per week in the office

Contract Type: Full-time (Flexibility for Part-Time), Permanent

We're looking for a strategic and collaborative Framework Manager to join us in our mission to deliver our ambitious Capital Maintenance Programme. As a Framework Manager, you will be responsible for managing a number of our key framework contracts, supporting the delivery of a capital maintenance programme worth approximately £80 million per year. You'll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure high performance, compliance, and continuous improvement across the framework.

Our newly formed Supply Maintenance Delivery Team is building a fresh inspection and delivery framework, embedding innovative processes, and forging strong partnerships with our partners. It's an exciting time to be part of one of Water Supply's largest capital programmes, where safety, efficiency, and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic direction, development and continuous improvement of framework contracts delivering the Capital Maintenance Programme

  • Manage contractors and subcontractors, ensuring they are properly authorised and aligned with the framework

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align framework strategies with delivery needs

  • Ensure effective supplier performance reporting from front line teams

  • Manage supplier relationships, performance metrics, and contract compliance

  • Drive efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement across the framework

  • Resolve issues and disputes promptly to protect programme delivery

  • Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing standards are upheld at all times

  • Act as a key member of the SMD leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and delivery

  • Champion innovation, collaboration, and best practice in framework management

About you

  • Experience managing supplier frameworks in capital projects or similar environments

  • Strong strategic thinking and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Proven ability to manage performance, risk, and compliance across complex contracts

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities

  • Knowledge of project lifecycle, cost management, and procurement processes
