Craft the vision for Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing, implementing actionable strategies.
Team Building:
Recruit and nurture a high-performing BI and Data Warehousing team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Build strong partnerships with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to meet data requirements effectively.
Data Warehouse Management:
Lead data warehouse initiatives to align with product vertical objectives.
Data Model and Pipeline Development:
Guide the design, development, and deployment of new data models and production pipelines.
Data Quality Assurance:
Uphold high standards of data quality throughout the product vertical.
Dashboard and Visualization Delivery:
Oversee the creation of impactful dashboards and data visualizations.
Service Level Agreements:
Establish and uphold SLAs for all production data sets and processes.
Data Infrastructure Expertise:
Display strong skill in data infrastructure with a proven track record in leading teams and managing projects.
Operational Efficiency:
Develop processes that enhance operational efficiency, including project management and system reliability.
Minimum Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
Demonstrated experience in project management.
Strong background in data architecture.
Proficiency in SQL or comparable programming languages.
At least 9 years in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing.
A minimum of 2 years in a managerial capacity.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a history of successfully driving projects.
Experience managing teams of 10 or more.
Development experience in an object-oriented programming language, such as Python or Java.
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred qualifications may include: Experience in consumer web or mobile sectors.
An advanced degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other technical disciplines.
Familiarity with data sets, Hadoop, and data visualization tools.
Public Compensation: $210,000/year to $281,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits Industry:
