Overview
Consolidated Solutions (CS) is seeking a talented and experienced Web & Multimedia Designer to join our dynamic Creative Services team. This role is ideal for a creative self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about web and graphic design across digital and print platforms.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop and maintain responsive website for CS including UI/UX design.
· Maintain and update company social media content with engaging visuals. (Instagram/LinkedIn)
· Create print and digital assets including brochures, catalogs, and promotional materials.
· Perform photography, image retouching, and color correction for client projects.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality creative solutions.
· Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative design ideas.
· Design and produce marketing collateral such as email campaign templates, social media graphics and posts, landing pages, booklets, and presentations.
· Develop and maintain a design template library.
· Collect and evaluate tracking metrics from CS website, social media platforms, MailChimp, and prepare reports to present the findings. (e.g., Google Analytics)
· Follow best practices around development, proofing, design, quality, and presentation.
· Use creative and marketing skills to solve complex problems and requirements.
· Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency across channels.
· Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
· Continue to expand marketing and design knowledge and expertise.
Technical Requirements
· Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
· Proficient in WordPress Content Management System (CMS)
· Ability to troubleshoot WordPress and navigate new plugins to enhance the site.
· Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
· Understanding of SEO best practices and accessibility standards.
· Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
· Experience with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for UI/UX design.
· Knowledge of digital asset management systems.
· Proficiency in photo editing and retouching software (e.g., Lightroom, Photoshop).
· Understanding of print production processes and file preparation.
· Experience designing for catalogs, flyers, and other physical media.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel including formulas.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
· 5+ years of professional experience in web and graphic design.
· Strong portfolio showcasing a range of marketing/design focused work.
· Excellent communication and time management skills.
· Ability to adapt to emerging design and marketing technologies.
· Excellent understanding of layout, typography, and color theory.
