Job Summary:

• 24-hour shifts
• Full-time physicians are required to work a minimum average of six shifts per month and 18 shifts per quarter
• Part-time physicians are required to work a minimum average of three shifts per month and nine shifts per quarter
• PRN physicians are required to work a minimum average of one shift per month and three shifts per quarter
• Focused on hospital-based care includes deliveries and rounding on inpatients
• No clinic responsibilities
• Labor & Delivery teams are known for their warm, team-oriented culture with a shared commitment to safety
• Strong, respectful collaboration with Critical Care and Emergency departments
• First assist support available for hospitalists and private practice physicians
• Reliable back-up call system in place
• Teamwork with affiliated MFM and neonatology specialists
• Provide emergency OB care, unassigned patient support, OBED coverage, and transport management
