About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join City College Norwich as part of the Registry team, delivering a comprehensive and high‑quality admissions service to students, academic colleagues, and wider College staff.
You will take responsibility for ensuring that all admissions administration tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time. This includes processing applications, managing interviews and offers, and acting as a positive and supportive point of contact for all admissions‑related enquiries.
A key aspect of the role involves supporting the maintenance and accuracy of a large student database, including interrogating and validating data to ensure strong data integrity across the admissions process.
You will provide a high‑level customer service experience to a wide range of service users, including applicants, students, academic staff, and external stakeholders, ensuring a professional and responsive approach at all times.
About you
You will be educated to a good standard (A Level or Level 3 equivalent) and have proven organisational skills, with experience of working with complex datasets and corporate IT systems.
You will enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team and have a strong customer‑service focus, demonstrating the ability to communicate clearly, work accurately under pressure, and contribute positively to the delivery of a high‑quality admissions service.

As a College we are required to undertake various Safer Recruitment checks as set out within the guidance from the Department for Education Keeping Child Safe in Education. We require all staff to undertake an enhanced Adult and Child Workforce DBS Check and to register with the DBS Update Service. Please note: From 28 November 2020 the government implemented changes to the filtering rules, and we have been instructed that we cannot accept any update service checks on DBS certificates that have been issued before this date. Therefore, a new one must be completed with City College Norwich.
