Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various warehouse duties such as receiving, stocking, order picking, and packing.
- Operate warehouse equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks (certification required for some).
- Accurately sort, label, and store incoming merchandise.
- Fulfill customer orders with speed and precision.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper packaging and documentation.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational targets for the distribution center.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency with RF scanning technology and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Commitment to upholding high safety standards in all tasks.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including potential overtime.
Your role is critical to our logistics network. Safety is our top priority; always adhere to safety procedures and wear your PPE. Consistent lifting is a part of this role.
