Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming freight.
- Verify shipment contents against packing slips and purchase orders, noting any discrepancies.
- Stage and store received goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (certification may be required).
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
- Ensure all outgoing shipments are properly labeled and documented for transit.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet daily operational goals within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a similar warehouse role preferred.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and basic computer systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
