Job Summary:
Our innovative facility in Orlando, Florida, is searching for a skilled Warehouse Technician. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal functioning and maintenance of our warehouse equipment and infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring that all operational systems are running efficiently and safely. This position requires a strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyors, forklifts, pallet jacks).
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues with warehouse machinery.
  • Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently, adhering to all Safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and operational issues.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
  • Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and free from hazards.
  • Properly use and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with material handling and occasional Lifting as needed to perform duties.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Technical certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of warehouse equipment.
  • Knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks including moderate Lifting and working in various warehouse conditions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to wearing and using appropriate PPE.
