Job Summary:
Join our team in Los Angeles, California, as an Inventory Control Specialist. This critical role involves overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory within our warehouse, ensuring accuracy, and implementing efficient control procedures. You will be responsible for maintaining precise inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and identifying and resolving discrepancies. Your efforts are vital to the success of our logistics operations and overall business performance.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock levels.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Monitor stock levels and recommend reorder points to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize loss and damage.
  • Ensure proper organization and placement of inventory within the warehouse to optimize space and accessibility.
  • Work closely with shipping and receiving departments to ensure accurate reconciliation of goods.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements to logistics processes.
  • Train other staff members on inventory control procedures as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a similar logistics role is required. Proficiency in using WMS software and strong analytical skills are essential. Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent problem-solving abilities. Ability to perform lifting up to 30 lbs occasionally. A strong understanding of inventory management best practices and a commitment to safety are crucial. Excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary. Must pass a background check and drug screening.
