Become a key player in our e-commerce fulfillment center as a Picker/Packer in Boston, Massachusetts. You will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and efficiently packing them for shipment. This role is critical to ensuring our customers receive the right products in excellent condition, contributing directly to our logistics success. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets using scanning equipment.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials to protect items during transit.
- Label packages with shipping information and any special handling instructions.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by reporting discrepancies or damaged items.
- Ensure the packing station is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves and safety glasses.
- Support the overall logistics flow by moving packed orders to designated shipping areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned by warehouse management to support operational needs.
Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred. Must be able to perform repetitive lifting up to 30 lbs. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy are paramount. Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a dynamic logistics setting is required. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. A strong commitment to safety and following instructions is essential. Candidates will be subject to a background check and drug screening.
